Celebrating Growth: The Search for a New Space Is On!
Hope Impacts is excited to announce that we turn 10 this year and God has big plans for us in the coming season! Our Board of Directors, Staff, and supporters have been prayerfully listening for direction from the Lord and we are thrilled to begin searching for a larger space to accommodate our growth, stretching forward to fulfill the mission we’ve been entrusted with.
We have enjoyed the humble beginnings of the vision God gave to our founder, Tina, back in 2014. Starting with her handing out food and blankets from the back of her van, we moved into a small office in the Kingsland Community Center where we were able to provide emergency shelter during the Harvey storm and aftermath. Following that event, we moved into a larger office in the center where we currently are. Through amazing partners like Kingsland and Crossroad Church we provided emergency shelter during the freeze to the entire community. We have seen over 270 individuals go from homeless to housed in the past ten years, we have seen individuals come to know Jesus, strongholds broken, freedom found, jobs secured, and lives forever changed.
In the new space, we are looking to have a computer lab, where we can offer educational classes to both our participants and members of the community alike, event rooms, and expand the services we currently offer. This will be a substantial and beneficial next step towards our ultimate goal of creating a sustainable solution for those experiencing homelessness in a supportive community in the areas we serve. We are so grateful for the support of so many and look forward to the next 10 years of serving the Katy community!
The Problem
Hope Impacts is a nonprofit that began in 2014 with the acknowledgment that we are all one crisis away from becoming situationally or chronically homeless. Over 3,300 people are currently homeless in Houston and surrounding areas. We have been honored and privileged to help over 260 people get off the streets in the communities we serve.
Our Vision
OUR VISION is to create a sustainable solution for those experiencing homelessness in a supportive community in the areas we serve.
OUR MISSION IS to provide hope and dignity to those facing homelessness.

Services
We focus on the needs of both the chronically and situationally homeless. While we meet immediate needs on the street, we also seek to create pathways toward sustainable, permanent solutions. We are not a shelter or day center, and we do not offer any kind of financial assistance, bill pay, or pay for hotels. LEARN MORE
